AEE is aimed to test the aptitude ability, logical thinking, knowledge of business world and English language of the candidates. It consists of four sections namely Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LR&DI), Business Affairs (BA) and English Comprehension (EC). There will be 100 questions and each question carries 1 mark.

• In AEE all questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
• Exam duration is 2 hours.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answer.
• The results declared by AIHM for AEE will be final and subjected to no revaluation / recounting.
• Any malpractices or unfair means of practices in AEE will lead to disqualification hence not eligible for further admission process.

Candidates are selected for admissions at AIHM based on their performance in entrance examination, group discussions, personal interview, previous academic performance and participation in extra-curricular activities.

1. Entrance Exam

CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective state government with last 1 year result from the date of application will be considered valid. If student has not appeared/qualified in any of the above mentioned entrance examinations, then he/she must appear for AIHM entrance examination (AEE).

Candidates are selected for admissions at AIHM based on their performance in entrance examination, group discussions, personal interview, previous academic performance and participation in extra-curricular activities.

• AEE examination is mandatory for all those who have not appeared/qualified in CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CMAT / GMAT.  

• Registration for AEE is mandatory.

• Candidates who are waiting for the results of any of the above mentioned examinations are advised to appear in AEE.

• Hall tickets will be issued to those candidates only who have paid AEE registration fees and meet the eligibility criteria.

• Fee is not refundable in any circumstances.

• Candidates must provide valid email id and mobile number in the registration form which should be maintained throughout the process.

• Any incorrect information / document produced / violation of selection process at any stage by any candidate will lead to disqualification of candidature for admission in to PGDM at AIHM.

• AIHM will not encourage shifting from online to offline mode or vice-a-versa.

• The decision of AIHM is final regarding date and time of the AEE, change of mode of exam and result declaration.

• Candidates have to reach to the exam centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Late appearance (more than 10 minutes) for AEE will lead to disqualification.

• AIHM Examination committee decision will be final for any cause.

• The examination will be valid for particular year admission cycle only.
